Seans Eile Ltd will cease operations from June 2017.
Background:
Seans Eile Ltd  is a FAS/BTEI sponsored  “Back to Education” initiative.  Initially this programme was set up in 2000 by the Home School Liaison Officer at Scoil Lorcáin to enable parents who missed out on second level education to re-enter the academic arena. 
Over the years this programme has evolved and now we offer the FETAC Level 3 Employability Skills Programme.
This is a part time programme, running Monday to Friday 9.15am-1.15pm, during school term times. The ethos of this course is to enable Individuals to balance learning new skills with their home life. 
All Modules are FETAC accredited.
 
Course Aim & Content:
Employability Skills: 
The aim of this course is to enable students to gain an insight into a wide variety of careers, enabling them to choose the right carer path and progress to further training or employment
  
Course Duration:
The Course runs in the Butler Community Centre for a total of 27 weeks from September to May each year during school term time.  There is a two week work experience placement each year which enables students to put their learning into practise.
 
Child Care Arrangements:
Any student to who secures a FAS place is entitled to free childcare place under the CETS scheme with participating Creches.
