The main indoor feature of the Butler Community Centre is the large sports hall (30 x 18 meters) which hosts a solid maple sprung floor coated with a high quality lacquer and lined for a variety of sporting activities.

Along with its sporting activities the hall also plays host to a variety of events including shows, large community activities and has facilitated as the count centre for the Waterford electoral area for the past number of years. Sporting activities that take place on a regular basis in the sports hall include:
